So, if you couldn't already tell. I got my hair cut. I decided to go for a drastic change, because I felt the need to do something difference with my appearance. I absolutely love it, and do not regret it one bit, which is a big deal. I went to Salon de Vallon and got it done by my friend, Sam Majewski. She is amazing, obviously. She's also the hairstylist that I collaborated with to create the hair tutorials (1, 2, 3). Also, I have already already completed 3 of my 22 before 22 goals, just two weeks after my birthday! How exciting is that?! I felt very colorful today, and I seriously cannot get over how much I love this dress. Not only is it comfortable, but I love the unique sewn in black lace collar. I can't wait to wear it more.
So I have some exciting news. I got an internship with the Des Moines Art Center to help build the museum gift shop's website. Not only that, I got a part time job working in the Art Center gift shop. I am so excited. There are so many amazing things in there, and I feel like I am going to learn so much. I also, have gotten requests from some freelance graphic design work, which makes me happy. I feel like there are so many good things happening right now. Let's hope I don't take on too much and go crazy, right?! I really think that 2012 is my year. Three weeks in and I couldn't be happier.
